Our methodology
The company uses sociodynamics, a theory on how societies behave, as outlined in Managing Sensitive Projects (Palgrave Macmillan, 1999) by Olivier d’Herbemont and Bruno César, which was translated and adapted from the French by the company’s founder Tom Curtin with Pascal Etcheber.
This methodology has been used successfully in the UK over the past 12 years and, in essence states that it is not the opponents that stop projects but rather the lack of allies and supporters. Curtin&Co specialises in finding ‘friends’ for projects through its unique Stakeholder Segmentation tool.
Books
Tom Curtin is also the author of two other books – Managing Green Issues (Palgrave Macmillan, 2nd edition 2007) and Managing a Crisis (Palgrave Macmillan, 2005).
