Community Relations
Political Liaison
Tom Curtin founded one of the fastest growing public affairs companies of the past decade.
Curtin&Co has an in-depth understanding of political systems, particularly at a local level. A wide range of experienced politicians act as consultants to the company, bringing insights and analysis. Through them, we also have a thorough understanding of political processes at the national and European level. The company is strong on face-to-face contact and meticulous research.
Consultation & Community Relations
Effective consultation has never been so important; especially as government agencies, such as the IPC, say that poor consultation could be grounds for refusing a project. Curtin&Co takes an innovative approach within this area which reaches far beyond "sticking up a few boards in atown hall". In line with govenrment guidance, we reach out to the community, obtaining meaningful and sensible comment. Often, modifications to schemes can be incorporated at little or not cost whilst winning community backing.
